چکیده

Aim: We retrospectively compared and evaluated the safety, efficacy, 1-year outcomes of 200-W Thulium laser vaporization prostate (ThuVAP) GreenLight high-performance system (HPS) 120-W for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Methods: Between February 2019 December 2021, 137 patients with lower urinary tract symptoms secondary to BPH underwent ThuVAP. October 2014 April 2019, 233 HPS (HPS-PVP). Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels, International Prostate Symptom Scores (IPSS), quality life (QOL) scores, overactive bladder symptom scores (OABSS), post-void residual (PVR), maximum flow rates (Qmax) were before 1, 3, 6, 12 months after surgery. Results: Mean ages in ThuVAP HPS-PVP groups 73.7 73.4 years, respectively. volumes (PV) 77.0 61.4 mL (P < 0.001), Significant improvements observed IPSS, QOL OABSS, Qmax, PVR both 1 Laser hospitalization times significantly shorter approximate tissue removal (ΔPV) was larger group than (means, 49.4 min vs. 62.5 min, P 0.001, means, 4.9 days 5.4 days, = 0.007, 50.4 mLvs. 27.8 mL, respectively). Vaporization efficiency (ΔPV/laser time) > 2-fold higher (1.1 mL/min 0.5 mL/min). There fewer postoperative complications (13.9% 23.6%, 0.030). Conclusion: Both procedures are safe useful obstruction. Based on operating times, complications, more efficient removal, is a favorable effective treatment HPS-PVP.
